Having an ostomy had never once gotten in the way of forming relationships at all.In fact, I used to hope that it would be a filtering device to keep the jerks at bay… Anyhow, I have had such luck in the dating scene with an ostomy that I began to wonder why.For instance, tight waistbands or belts might feel restrictive over your stoma.Be open to experimenting with different styles of clothes.i am afraid that men will get scared of the fact that i have a stoma and will not want to purse a relationship any further. Hugs Donna There is a site called Meet an Ostomate - I don't really know much about it but you can google it and see what's there.It would be so nice to date someone with a stoma also..luck and please keep me posted what you find out.You might think every gurgle and noise coming from your stoma is loud and heard by everyone in the room.Most people won't notice your ostomy unless you tell them about it.
